"Ląd" means in Polish "land" but it is also the name of the village where is the Cistersian abbey. The fog in the photos hovers softly above the Warta River. Visible in the photos the towers are the church in the abbey Ląd.
The Cistercian abbey was founded in the XII century and is located on the Warta River. Now abbey operate by the Salesians and houses a seminary of that order.

Opactwo cystersów zostało założone w XII wieku i położone jest nad rzeką Wartą. Obecnie opactwo działa pod opieką Salezjanów. Mieści się tu również seminarium tego zakonu.
