Another Picture of the Bird of Paradise

So the work of trimming the bud is done.
With help of friends we got the trimming done. Hours of work one sunny afternoon. I am keeping the trimmings for cannabis butter for baking It will all be worth it in the end. A very long journey for my

The Amazing Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia)

I had a change of tack
So yesterday I was checking my bud, which was hanging. The buds were dry on the inside but next to the stalk they were very sticky. So I decided to do a rough trim. And place them in a box with baking

I went with advise from fellow weednet growers, and a gut feeling that it was time to say goodbye. The trunk was tougher than I thought. Even with a sharp pair of pruners I needed two hands, and some strength

Need Some advice from the Great Weed Network
Is she close to harvest time? Any advice would be appreciated. Im still giving her little drinks of water. But as you can see most if the big leaves have gone. And the last if the medium leaves are yellow.

First Grow update.
Starting to get a little sticky around the buds. And they are taking on a slight purple colour. Not long to harvest time I think 😎

Update on my first cannabis grow.
She has a few yellow leaves now. For the past week I have just been giving her pure water. A few yellow leaves have appeared. But I think all is well, plenty of green about and the buds are getting sticky

Well this morning as suggested by a fellow steemian I gave her a trim.
Fellow stemian @movingman suggested I should trim some lower branches. Enabling more nutrients to reach the buds. He also suggested I use organic feed. Which I have been doing already. These are the liquid

My first attempt at cloning. So far mother and baby doing well.
I cut of one small leaf. Dipped it in rooting compound. Watered the pot well and then just stuck it in. She is all safe inside her water bottle propergater. Keeping he out of direct sunlight with little

She has grown into a big girl now
I have had to free her from her protective cage as she has grown to big. Let's hope the bugs don't find her now. Buds are forming nicely.

Looks like we are getting buds.
I noticed the buds starting to form a couple of days ago. I have been flushing with pH balanced water since then. Today I will feed them with water plus organic liquid bloom.
