together with my longtime colleague DJ Klubbingman, I have released a new single via Klubbstyle Records on all major platforms since April 28, 2023. Today is Saturday and it's time once again to post a post for the #danceweekend created by #uwelang.
For the new Klubbingman & Andy Jay Powell single called "Neverland" we took on a well known dance vocal theme that has been on our agenda for years.
For our Neverland version we built a completely new composed instrumental for the lyrics of Kate Lesing in uplifting trance style. It was also very complex studio work to create all the vocal effects and ad-lips from the bare vocal track. There was a lot of sweat, but I think it was worth it.

Just recently I mentioned that for all the joy I've had after a quarter century of working in the music business, I've seen a lot of negative things. Labels that don't charge, corporations that fob artists off with ridiculous shares of streaming are the order of the day. I've also had the incident of someone simply writing their name on some of my work and passing it off as their own.
I found something similar on HIVE this week. A "very nice person" just copied 8 of my HIVE articles basically one to one. Copying my music articles here on HIVE - with direct links - from and to my Youtube channels is not particularly wise. ;-).
I realize that not everyone likes my articles. But I think everyone can see that I put a lot of heart and soul into my articles and my music. But an absolute NO-GO is, if someone steals my texts and photos on a fake account, and does not even shrink from it, my children as his own! Since I mutate then to a lion! ;-)
Conclusion:
I already knew why I don't put pictures with my children on the internet, on which my children can be recognized perfectly. Here I can really only advise caution.
I will try to be even more careful with my votes on HIVE in the future. The danger that someone wants to get some money quickly with plagiarism is simply not to be explained away.

Wir haben für unsere Neverland Version ein komplett neu komponiertes Instrumental für die Lyrics von Kate Lesing im Uplifting Trance Style gebaut. Sehr aufwändige Studioarbeit war es auch, die ganzen Vocal Effekte und Ad-Libs aus der blanken Vocalspur zu basteln. Da floß viel Schweiß, aber ich denke, es hat sich gelohnt.
Wie findet ihr die neue Single „Neverland“? Schreibt mir doch gerne einen Kommentar.
Erst kürzlich erwähnte ich, daß ich bei aller Freude nach einem Vierteljahrhundert Arbeit im Musicbizz schon viele negative Dinge erlebt habe. Labels, die nicht abrechnen, Konzerne, die Künstler mit lächerlichen Anteilen am Streaming abspeisen sind an der Tagesordnung. Ich hatte auch schon den Vorfall, daß jemand einfach seinen Namen auf einige meiner Werke geschrieben und als seine Eigenen ausgegeben hat.
Etwas ähnliches habe ich diese Woche auf HIVE entdeckt. Da hat doch irgendeine "ganz besonders nette Person" einfach 8 meiner HIVE Artikel im Grunde eins zu eins übernommen. Hier auf HIVE meine Musikartikel zu kopieren – mit direkten Links – von und auf meinen Youtube Kanals ist dabei gelinde gesagt nicht gerade klug. ;-)
Mir ist klar, daß nich jeder meine Beiträge mag. Aber ich denke, jeder kann sehen, daß ich sehr viel Herzblut in meine Artikel und meine Musik stecke. Ein absolutes NO-GO ist aber, wenn jemand auf einem Fake Account meine Texte und Fotos klaut, und dabei nicht einmal davor zurückschreckt, meine Kinder als die Seinigen auszugeben! Da werde ich dann zum Keiler! ;-)
Conclusio:
Ich wußte schon, warum ich keine Bilder mit meinen Kindern ins Netz stelle, worauf meine Kinder einwandfrei zu erkennen. Hier kann ich wirklich nur zur Vorsicht raten.
Bei meinen Votings auf HIVE werde ich in Zukunft versuchen, noch sorgfältiger vorzugehen. Die Gefahr, daß hier jemand mit Plagiaten schnell etwas Kohle abgreifen will, ist einfach nicht wegzudiskutieren.
