Hello dear friends,
last week I had lamented a little that for me the mushroom year 2021 has turned out rather poor. But you should not throw in the towel too early. Because now I have succeeded yet some beautiful late autumn finds.
Actually, I just want to go a little with mountain bike in the southern Spessart and enjoy the "Indian Summer" in glorious sunshine.

Hallo liebe Freunde,
letzte Woche hatte ich noch ein wenig lamentiert, da脽 f眉r mich das Pilzjahr 2021 eher mau ausgefallen ist. Man sollte die Flinte aber nicht zu fr眉h ins Korn werfen. Denn nun sind mir doch noch einige sch枚ne sp盲therbstliche Funde gelungen.
Eigentlich wolle ich ja nur ein wenig mit Mountain Bike in den S眉dspessart fahren und den "Indian Summer" bei herrlichem Sonnenschein genie脽en.
Before I turned into the valley of the mills (M眉hlental), I stopped at the ruins of St. Mark's Chapel and took a few pictures. The temperature rose well and I could get rid of the gloves.

Bevor ich in das "M眉hlental" eingebogen bin, habe ich an der Ruine der Markuskapelle Station gemacht und ein paar Bilder geschossen. Die Temperatur stieg gut an und ich konnte mich der Handschuhe entledigen.

Bei diesem Bild musste ich einfach anhalten und knipsen.
It was getting warmer and warmer. Even a few bees were still on the way. In the M眉hlental I stopped again and took these wonderful pictures.

Es wurde immer w盲rmer. Sogar ein paar Bienen waren noch unterwegs. Im M眉hlental habe ich nochmal einen Halt gemacht und diese herrlichen Bilder gemacht.
I thought I'll go times direction Kartause Gr眉nau - a, as far as I'm informed, old monastery, which has been converted into a restaurant - and look times, whether I could not yet find a few boletus. On the way I had again a few great motifs...

Ich dachte mir, ich fahre mal Richtung Kartause Gr眉nau - einem, soweit ich informiert bin, alten Kloster, das zu einem Restaurant umfunktioniert wurde - und gucke mal, ob ich nicht doch noch ein paar Steinpilze finden k枚nnte. Unterwegs hatte ich wieder ein paar tolle Motive...
I have not found porcini mushrooms. But for it vast quantities of trumpet chanterelles.

Steinpilze habe ich zwar nicht gefunden. Aber daf眉r Unmengen an Trompetenpfifferlingen.
This mushroom could be the Mycetinis alliaceus. However, I am not completely sure. I found a similar mushroom in one of the great videos by

Here we have a Clitocybe nebularis. This mushroom we used to eat. Recently it was declared poisonous, so now we leave it.

Hier haben wir eine Nebelkappe.Diesen Pilz haben wir fr眉her gegessen. Vor kurzem wurde er f眉r giftig erkl盲rt, so da脽 wir ihn nun stehen lassen.
Unfortunately, I do not know this candidate. But it looks beautiful.

Diesen Kandidaten kenne ich leider nicht. Sieht aber sch枚n aus.
Here we have an old red-legged boletus. I only take them when they are young and crunchy - and I don't have tons of porcini mushrooms in the basket ;-)

Hier haben wir einen alten Rotfu脽r枚hrling. Die nehme ich nur mit, wenn sie jung und knackig sind - und ich nicht Unmengen an Steinpilzen im Korb habe. ;-)
Slowly the weather got worse. The sky was closing in. You can see it here on the way towards Hasselberg. At the top you could pause at the forest hut, but I wanted but now quickly home.

Langsam wurde nun das Wetter schlechter. Der Himmel zog sich zu. Man sieht es hier auf dem Weg Richtung Hasselberg. Ganz oben k枚nnte man an der Waldh眉tte pausieren, aber ich wollte doch nun schnell nach Hause.
Arrived in the valley in Hasloch, I changed my mind and went to the Hasloch harbor area. There just landed a few paragliders. I had talked with one of the athletes about this sport. Very interesting, but would go beyond the scope of this article.

Im Tal in Hasloch angekommen, habe ich es mir doch anders 眉berlegt und bin noch in den Haslocher Hafenbereich gefahren. Dort landeten gerade ein paar Paraglider. Ich hatte mich mit einem der Sportler 眉ber diesen Sport unterhalten. Sehr interessant, w眉rde allerdings den Rahmen dieses Beitrages sprengen.
