Happy birthday, Aunt Roxana! || ¡Feliz cumpleaños, tía Roxana! [Eng/Esp]
Hello #hive friends, this day I am very excited to make my first publication in this wonderful community, hoping to be welcomed in the best way. And I am much more excited because of the reason for my publication, which is about the birthday of a very important and special person in my life, my aunt Roxana.
Hola amigos de #hive, este día me encuentro muy emocionada por hacer mi primara publicación en esta maravillosa comunidad, esperando ser acojida de la mejor manera. Y estoy mucho mas emocionada por la razon de mi publicación, que se trata del cumpleaños de una persona muy importante y especial en mi vida, mi tía Roxana.
The life of my aunt Roxana has always been for me an example of sacrifice and courage, of love and commitment to others. She has always been there for me in many aspects of my life, since she is one of the people who raised me, along with my grandmother Fernanda, my mother María and my aunt María Elena.
La vida de mi tía Roxana siempre ha sido para mí un ejemplo de sacrificio y valentía, de amor y entrega hacia los demás. Siempre ha estado para mí en muchos aspectos de mi vida, dado que es una de las personas que me criaron, junto con mi abuela Fernanda, mi madre María y mi tía María Elena.
My aunt's birthday was on January 23, a very special and important date but today it is also very painful. She got married on January 23, 2004, on her 28th birthday. Unfortunately, her husband passed away almost 7 years ago, so this is a date that brings her much longing and sadness.
Mi tía cumplió años el 23 de enero, una fecha muy especial e importante pero al día de hoy también es muy dolorosa. Ella se casó el 23 de enero de 2004, en su cumpleaños número 28, lamentablemente, su esposo falleció hace casi 7 años, por lo cual esta es una fecha que le trae mucha añoranza y tristeza.
Even so, with her heart aching and full of memories that make her cry, she does not lose her joy and her desire to live and fight. She said on her birthday: "Today I will not allow anything to take away the joy of my heart", and together with the family and the brothers of the church, we thanked God and celebrated another year of life, we also thanked because we still having very few material things, God blesses us with life and health, and we can be happy.
Aún así, con su corazón dolido y lleno de recuerdos que la hacen llorar, ella no pierde su alegría y sus ganas de vivir y de luchar. Ella dijo el día de su cumpleaños: "Hoy no permitiré que nada me quite el gozo de mi corazón", y junto con la familia y los hermanos de la iglesia, agradecimos a Dios y celebramos un año más de vida, agradecimos también porque aún teniendo muy pocas cosas materiales, Dios nos bendice con vida y salud, y podemos ser felices.
And since she loves cooking and baking, she also prepared her birthday cake, a delicious orange and chocolate marbled cake that we all loved.
Y como ama la cocina y la repostería, ella también preparó su torta de cumpleaños, una deliciosa torta marmoleada de naranja y chocolate que a todos nos dejó encantados.
I thank God for my aunt's life, and I hope that she will always be that ray of light and joy that she is for everyone around her.
Doy gracias a Dios por la vida de mi tía, y espero que siempre sea ese rayo de luz y alegría que es para todos los que la rodean.
