Bouley Bay was included in the very first British Hill ClimbChampionship which took place way back in 1947. The course is run on public roads which are closed off for the event each year; it is a steep and twisty climb which weaves its way through the stunning countryside up to the finish line which is high up on the cliff top overlooking Bouley Bay. It is definitely a hill climb for the brave and provides spectators with plenty of action. This years event will take place on the 18th of July and I will be sure to be there with my camera!
