Just as good as the unanimous reviews said. For once, a film that lived up to the hype and expectation. No, it didn't soil the memory of a classic. It was dark, violent and simultaneously very funny , brilliantly written with great performances from the original cast and fantastic music.
Lots of subtle nods across the room at the original as well as micro tributes to Bowie and George Best.
My only regret was not digging out the original 'Trainspotting' so it was fresher in my mind.
