So what exactly creates a "Double Rainbow" ⁉️
Well, to explain it simply many rainbows are actually "Double Rainbows", except that the second band of colour is very seldom observed as it's brightness is just not strong enough for the human eye.

For those of you who are not aware of how a Rainbow is formed! Here is a simple explanation: Raindrops are required to be reflected and refracted by sunlight in a way that allows the observer to able to view the resulting illumination 🌈

Many of these dramatic "Mother Nature" phonomenums have been seen occurring around the World for many years! However, very few photographers have been lucky enough to catch it at just the right moment. The Image below was captured over the Minsi Lake, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, USA in 2006 by Nature photographer Nicholas (Attribution link is below the photograph).
