Seen death face to face, looking pale and
frigid, wanting you..
Seen shame come to you, when you never asked for it's presence..
Seen hope drift away, just like the clouds after the rain..
Sank into melancholy, lost in thoughts and demotivated to carry on..
Seen loss and tragedy that eats up the life left of you..
Bad things happen to good people, I mean good Christians..
Like a job delay, protracted promotion at work, marital squabbles, delay in childbearing, failing time and time again, not been appreciated in a relationship, obviously slandered by loved ones and not meeting up with those top life goals.
Frustrating, is the least word to describe these periods of life; depressing sounds far better..
"Trust in the Lord with all thy heart..." easy to quote but hard to live by in these periods because we don't understand why things are that way, when would help come and where is it really coming from.
There might be other ways at this period but there is a formula that works!
When you are pushed and frustrated to ask, "what next?" be assured that, "God knows!"
Remind yourself that He is working things out for you(Romans 8:28)
This is the best place to stand, God knows!!
