On a side note: Several years ago, that Volcano almost cost us a very expensive "Cruise Ship" Holiday. All week I was watching the News and Weather and finally accepted that this particular Holiday was just not happening. At the end of a very stressful week I got a phone call from the Travel Agent, saying that Gatwick Airport had re-opened for flights.

Can you imagine the excitement and panic? when I told my Wife that we had to go pack and get to the Airport in less than 3 hours. Somehow me made it , and was an amazing Egyptian Cruise.
