My beginnings as a photographer were in the way that seemed most accessible to me, in the streets of the city of Havana, doing street photography. While those beginnings were of experimentation and apprenticeship, now it turns out that I do it on assignment, professionally.
It's the case of this session in one of the most colorful and historic neighborhoods of Havana, called San Isidro, in the municipality of Old Havana. Despite being a humble neighborhood, is also famous for being home to the birthplace of José Martí, Cuba's national hero and apostle of its independence; as well as the place where the famous pimp Yarini operated with women brought from France.
More recently, it has become a street art mural that has given the opportunity to all artists to express themselves through very colorful and beautiful graffiti.
