Every Sunday there's one of the most interesting fairs in Havana at the "Vista Hermosa" farm, owned by an enterprising farmer who has cleverly blended the art of agriculture with that of business. It's the so-called "Land Market", perhaps so called because the most important entrepreneurs of the city gather there to sell their fresh agricultural products every Sunday. In addition, producers of handicrafts and other handmade or rustic products are also invited. One of the most popular stands is the dairy products produced on the Vista Hermosa farm itself. These are mostly cheese and yogurt, but they're very popular among the people. It's basically a market day, but also a party for the whole family, who can enjoy food, drinks, live music, horseback riding and excursions. A great way to end the week!
