Hello again to all photography lovers! Sorry for being away so long. I just got a lot of work recently. But couldn't wait all that time for getting new content ready to share it with all of you.
With great pleasure, I received a new call from travellers coming to Cuba for a photoshoot session. This time she was a Colombian lady that wanted to take with her a colorful and beatiful memory of her visit to Havana. I tried to give her real postcards that would be unforgettable to her.
She came out really elegant, making an outstanding contrast with the classic environment around us. This is why we decided to look for red cars first... and there are plenty of them out there. And not only red, but also pink, which, together with the yellow and gray buildings around, create beautifully contrasted images.
At this point she amazed me on her modelling skills. So much so, that she even brought a second outfit to change and pose in a whole different dress and another look. We took a break, she went into a nearby hotel and came out wearing completely in black.
Our second location was in the middle of the famous and historical Central Park of Havana, an open area surrounded by few of the most classical buildings in the city, like "Inglaterra" hotel and the "Alicia Alonso Great Theatre of Havana".
Then we began walking through Obispo street, just to enjoy the view, but also to find new spectacular locations and meet with the colorful and happy people that usually hangs around this area.
This is the band "Los Mambises", an old traditional Cuban music group that has been in this same spot for years and years. They always have a space for anyone who wants to join them to sing and dance in exchange for a small tip.
Immediately after we met "la manisera", which is the title given to the street vendors of peanuts in paper cones, an old Cuban recipe that's already part of the culture and symbol of the Cubans.
And finally, we arrived at the end of Obispo street, where the oldest part of the city awaits and there we sat in the shade of a park to take the last photos. The building in the background is the hotel "Santa Isabel".
Friends, I hope you enjoyed this new trip through the streets of Old Havana as much as I did. I can't wait to continue sharing more of my work with you. See you next time!
