Although it has many names, in Cuba we know it as "hookah" and I was always very intrigued about how it works. In fact, even today I've never tried it, and I don't think I will, because in the end it involves smoking components such as tobacco and other chemicals which, according to what I have read in this Wikipedia article, is by far more harmful than tobacco. Anyway, people love to enjoy its flavors and sensations, especially to share with a partner, family or friends. It's plentiful in bars and restaurants throughout the city. The man prepares himself a hookah smoke. Apparently he's a regular in the house.
