Some of you may have seen my posts regading Mallacoota. What I didn't tell you is that I had relatives down there. I am happy to report they are all safe and well. Best New years News ever!
I believe they are still cut off and the Military may be needed to deliver them supplies in coming days but they are all safe.
Waiting on more news about the township, even if the property loss has been minimal this will hurt the locals as it is right in the middle of their tourist season.
Where ever your family and loved ones are this new years I hope they are all safe and well. Happy New Years from Australia, currently the smokiest continent around lol.
