So a few months ago i decided to build my own trailer so instead of starting from scratch i bought a cheap run down trailer off gumtree for £25 and after stripping it of all the wood and a lick of paint heres what it looks like
Next i layed the base out and cut it to the shape making sure i cut the wheel arches out to avoud the wheels rubbing with the base here im using 3/4"ply board
Then i added support beams around the edges leaving a 3/4" gap for the sides and then fitted the sides in place again still using 3/4 " ply with 80x40mm treated wood screws
Last but not least i added tops to the wheel arches unfortunatly i had to finish the project in a rush so have no more photos after this one. But once finished with another lick of treated woodpaint its ready for the road and sold for just over £250 so was well worth the build considering supplys only cost £80 after looking around for some bargins
