Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity. Ecclesiastes 2:15..
The difference between the successful person and the unsuccessful person lies in the choices they make at every point in time. Wisdom is simply defined as the right application of knowledge. It is also defined as knowledge that is gained by having many experiences in life.
Foolishness on the other hand is defined as lack of good sense or judgment. It is also simply defined as stupidity. The New International Version quotes the opening Scripture as, “ Then I said to myself, “The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?” I said to myself, “This too is meaningless.”” King Solomon became a fool when he allowed his numerous wives to turn his heart away from God. His lust for foreign women cost him because these women came to his kingdom with their own gods.
As a child of God, be mindful of the woman you choose for a wife; choose a God-fearing wife, one who worships the Most High so that even your children will know the one true God. Even if you have to die, don’t die like a fool; die a righteous death, Psalm 116:15. May the wisdom of God guide you to make good choices. Hallelujah! Be A World Changer!
