I loved the colors and how everything contributes to the magical atmosphere. Rachel Zegler voices Ellian and she does an extraordinary job. It's one of those vocal performances that you feel, not just hear.
I will say that the script doesn't invent the wheel; the story has that predictable air that we already know in fantasy movies. But honestly, when you have animation of this level and such a powerful soundtrack, who's complaining?
Certainly, the proposal is well crafted and becomes an adorable pastime that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, taking into consideration that it is a film that is intended for both audiences because of its theme and message.
However, the journey is not entirely convincing, because at times the film gets stuck in wanting to emphasize where the final message takes us and there we lose a bit of emotion added to the fact that not all of its songs are effective unfortunately.
The content of the film is fantastic. Although it seems to be aimed at children, its message is more aimed at parents.
The story keeps the pace up until the end. The songs are very pleasant. The drawings are excellent with characters with a lot of personality.
