This is a comedy film directed and written by Blake Freeman who had previously worked in the same roles in the 2013 film, "A Journey to Planet Sanity" and also as part of the lead cast.
This film has hilarious as well as quirky scenes and features three friends who have been together since childhood, Vince, Chris and Kurt, played by the actors: Eddie Griffin, awarded in 2014 as best actor at the Los Angeles International Film Festival and San Francisco Global Movie Fest for his performance in the movie Last Super, director Blake Freeman and Casper Van Dien best known for his starring role as Johnny Rico in the sci-fi action movie Starship Troopers (1997), make a surprising trip to Colombia to catch a drug lord for whom they are offering to pay a hefty bounty.
The drug lord, Juan Andres Garcia, is played by Jose Yenque and his right-hand man, Luis Diego, by Danny Trejo, who has a long career in film and television.
The action of the film takes place in 1986 in Colombia, although at first they think they are in Mexico and the scenes of the film are simple, parodying both one and the other, as is customary in simple films of the genre.
It was released in theaters in June 2017 with mixed reviews, there are those who thought it was surprising and unexpected, as well as entertaining and others who thought it was exaggerated and full of humor that they considered stupid.
The truth of the matter is that the film fulfills the function of entertaining and personally I consider that it certainly falls at times is irrelevant scenes and loses the thread of the same but we should not ask much from a low-budget production whose mission is simply to entertain.
