[Fuente] Since childhood I have been taught to help others and in one way or another I tried to do it, but since everything worsened in Venezuela it has become a huge burden for me to do everything possible to help others and that is why I had the initiative to create a foundation called VASE which one of its areas of work is to provide food to people in need.
This was really what led me to Steemit as it is almost impossible to generate large resources only from the local currency (Bolivares) so it has been devalued too much and here in my country the prices surpassed the clouds. But I must also give credit to the few people who have somehow supported this work
Nowadays, an approximate of 400 plates of food per month is being given, but we have the goal of soon reaching 1000 plates. We have had the privilege of doing this work in two states of the country.
It is unfortunate to have to see all these things; children living in the street and eating from garbage, people already in conditions of malnutrition, but while you can, you have to help.
I invite you to raise awareness, and not for them to have pity or this is the reason for a vote, but today we can have a lot but tomorrow we do not know, and the help you give today could be received or when you need it the most. It's not just that you help a foundation, but where you see the opportunity to do it, do it.
We can change the environment that surrounds us only if we make an effort and put love to what we do. Do not stop helping, give drink to the thirsty and eat the hungry, that is a motivation of joy for our hearts beyond buying a flannel or branded shoes.
Let us not think of themselves, but also of others.
