Opel has presented a model that should serve as the basis for their next electric and autonomous cars. It is the Experimental GT X, a car that does not stop being a prototype.

According to the data shared by Opel, this model can be defined as an SUV with a light body style coupé. 100% electric, it is 4.06 meters long for a wheelbase of 2.62 m. Its width is 1.83 m, and 1.52 m in height.

It incorporates a new generation lithium ion battery. With 50 kWh of energy capacity, it can be recharged by induction (without cables).

The prototype was presented with 17-inch wheels.

Unlike other prototypes that are being presented by some automakers, the GT X will not be a 100% autonomous car, but will have a series of autonomous systems that will make life easier for drivers, level 3 driving autonomous
