The DeepOnion forum has skyrocketed in popularity in recent times leading to an influx of members from around the world. This has led to a small scale battle between the old and new members due to difference of opinions. So many topics are being debated on a regular basis and I feel that this is a good thing. Why? Let me explain.
Ever since the DeepOnion forum began operating several months back, the forum was relatively quiet with very few members and very few discussions. I joined a bit later and I observed that the forum was already experiencing a small scale battle between the blacklisted(banned) members and the moderators of the forum. The blacklisted members(Including me) moaned on a regular basis regarding our blacklisted status. Moderators provided valid reasons majority of the time, but could never satisfy everyone equally. This became a chore to everyone. Everything changed with the new and updated rules recently.
The new and updated rules made it dead easy to become a part of this airdrop, but with certain caveats like the condition to hold 100 onions etc. These new rules satisfied many old users like me who were waiting to be a part of the airdrop for quite sometime. The small scale battle between the mods and blacklisted members ended, but a new battle began. The new battle began between the old members and the new members of the forum. The old members supported the new rules and stood by them while many new members complained about the new restrictions and conditions and the way the onions are being airdropped according to the new model on the whole.
This battle also kind of ended thanks to an awesome feature known as Deeppoints. I am positive that there will be a lot more battles like this one in the future. Is that a bad thing? No freaking way. These battles actually lead to more discussion regarding DeepOnion(Positive or Negative) which will help DeepOnion in the long run. As more and more members keep talking about DeepOnion, even more members will get attracted towards this awesome community which will help DeepOnion defeat all its rivals and emerge as the defacto anonymous crypto king!
