Anything made out of dough close to a hot element is a recipe for smoke and fire in my opinion. I managed to burn hot cross buns two days ago in this exact way and then had my 5 year old daughter judging me 🙄 lol. It happens to everyone and we all get distracted occasionally... especially with sport so don't be too hard on yourself.
