Hi Denmarkguy
I enjoyed reading this immensely but I think success can mean different things to different people. The standard definition of success which is linked to monetary gain and societal influence (for example being a celebrity/politician etc) holds absolutely no value for me personally, but may be the goal that the next person aspires to. I was actually having a conversation about this with one of my closest people this morning. Whatever your idea of success is, the need to show up and do the work is going to be the common denominator in most cases.
Often the challenge is having the determination and tenacity to keep going in the face of adversity, especially when circumstances change that you had no control over (Covid 19 for example). We are living through very strange and uncertain times. I think that even more important for me at the moment is not just showing up in terms of work and projects, but showing up for the people I care about while we are all going through this collectively.
Thank you for the thought provoking article and have a successful day :)
