For thousands of years in many countries, natural remedies have been used for the treatment of various ailments or ailments, this type of treatment is called alternative treatments, which are more used in Asia, now We may well note that South America does not escape these alternative treatments with the difference that in Asia this is a millenary custom and here we use them when we do not find the medicines recommended by doctors graduated in Universities. In Venezuela we have seen the obligation to return to that tradition of using these treatments, so today I will talk about the plant known as "Lengua de Vaca", "mother tongue", "Back of King", being its scientific name Sansevieria trifasciata is a species of Sansevieria, which comes from west of tropical Africa to Nigeria and east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This plant which we see in houses as garden plants unaware that they are excellent for cleaning and purifying the kidneys, also serves for back pain, swollen legs.

For this we take 10 centimeters of the leaf and liquefy it in a liter of water, once this is done we strain and begin to drink a cup every 4 hours for 9 days, resting 1 week and repeat the cycle for 6 months.
