Tree Tracker is a tool created to support people and organizations that plant, monitor and protect trees. This app designed to help planters keep track of the trees. Tree tracker is open source project that can be found here. You can also download the app from Play Store here. For further information, please visit their website at www.GreenStand.org.
There is many communities are engaged to make green environment. I thought this app can be the place for manage and track their trees over time. Besides their various functions, I thought the logo design need new appearance to look more friendly and usable for their community. Here's my new logo proposal.
Benefits / Improvements
The logo was combination of location icon and tree that represent the application as tree# tracking tool. The logo can be used as location pin inside the app. I use brown and green to associate with nature and down to earth. Brown also can makes audience feels support and reliable. I choose PoetsenOne font that looks friendly because this app aiming community and organizations that plant, monitor and protect trees.
Tools
I use CorelDraw X7 as my graphic design tool.
