Let me break it down the way I understand it....

Growth. What is it really?

Growth is not just about adding age or getting taller....It is about change. It is when you look back and you know you are not the same person you were last year. You think better, you do things better, you drop some childish ways. If you are still doing everything exactly the way you did two years ago, you have not grown....Growth means you moved.

And comfortable?

Comfortable is sweet. It is your normal routine, your same corner, your same people, the same thing every day....No pressure, no fear, no risk. It feels safe because you know it. But that is the problem. Nothing new will ever happen there. Comfort keeps you in one place.

So what does it mean when we say growth can be uncomfortable?

It means if you really want to grow, you will not enjoy every part of it...๐ŸŽ€

Sometimes growth will tell you to leave a place you know well. Maybe your village, your old school, your old job. You have to go to a new place where you don't know anybody. That feeling is lonely. You will miss home.

Sometimes you have to give space to some people. Not because you hate them, but because you want to grow and they want you to stay small. Some friends only love the old version of you. Letting them go is confusing and it can hurt, but you have to do it.

You also have to break old habits. We all have them. Sleeping too much, wasting time on phone, being scared to try. Those habits are comfortable. To break them, you have to force yourself. And that forcing is not sweet at all.

And then, you will need to make hard decisions. Saying NO when you used to say YES. Starting all over again. Choosing what will help your future instead of what feels good now.

That line in the prompt really touched me - "You cannot expect your life to change while you are holding on to everything that keeps you stuck." If your hands are holding old loads, how will you carry new ones? You must drop some things to pick new things.

So at the end, when you feel uncomfortable, don't always think you are doing something wrong....Sometimes that uncomfortable feeling is proof that you are growing.

A seed must break before it becomes a tree. The breaking is painful, but without it, no tree.

That is why growth can be uncomfortable, but we still need it.
