"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success." – Henry Ford

Hive is not simply a blockchain - it is a decision, a mindset and a like minded community that shares in the growth of such.

THE WHAT, WHY, WHO & WHERE OF IT ALL

These are my five...

WHAT

(What Hive offers you as an individual)

HIVE is a platform that has given me the opportunity to not only express myself but to learn how to do it properly. Although writing academic papers has always been easy for me, expressing my ideas and internal thoughts has always been particularly difficult, HIVE has given me the opportunity to learn how to express my own thoughts, in a way that satisfies my expectations and that of my readers, and being able to understand and be understood by others receiving feedback that is always necessary and enriching for personal development.

WHY

(How Hive is different to other social media and blogging platforms)

I personally believe that HIVE is different in the fact that I do not feel forced to post certain types of content, nor judged for trying different styles or expressing myself. In addition to that, I am a student and my family urges me to focus completely on my studies, however, I cannot help feeling bad about not being able to help financially. HIVE offers not only a platform that gives anyone a wide range of self expression freedom, but the opportunity to make progress in the economic field, in my case helping, even if it just a little bit, my family who strives so hard for me, for me to be able to study.

WHO

(People & spaces you find Hive support and gain enthusiasm from)

I am relatively new to this platform, however, the beginning is always a bit vague and contests like those raised by @ zord189, @ club12, talentclub@talentclub and oizaguirres@oizaguirres have helped me a lot by inspiring and encouraging me to finally start.

And of course, how not to mention her, maeugenia@maeugenia who was the person that showed me HIVE on the first place and who has been my guide in each post and every doubt since I started, my start in hive would have been very different without her, even possibly non-existent.

WHERE

(The front ends / dapps of your choice and why)

My main option is Hive Blog, it is easy to understand and access from the computer. And if I am using the phone then I use Esteem, its application gives me a quick and easy access to everything.

#THRIVEONHIVE

(My final thoughts & conclusion)

Even when I am new on this platform, it has been helping me a lot to stay active in something other than my studies, it has tested my perseverance, something that I keep working on, it has helped me to distract myself from negative things and to feel useful. It has been very entertaining to join and I hope I can stay and grow on it for much longer!
