There is time that makes things age and then there is age that make time move on. Here is the oldest Pagoda in Vietnam,Tran Quoc Pagoda.
There are 3 main entrances each representing three different meaning of three directions and three ways.
I suggest you go and research it as it has much to do with cultural and tradition. Overall 3 is lucky as it is for prosperity in Hanoi, a symbol of something more.
There is somethings magical about this spot that many take photos from. Many people who visit this place have the similar photo. The is some magic that makes people stop and want to hold this spot for more then a second to take a photo. There is many moments that let people keep this spot in their minds and hearts for if they know or not they know that this spot is special for the image ahead is best when right here, right now, somehow.
Almost elevated into Nirvana this Buddha sits and elevates the world thru elevating oneself. Example of change of what can happen with one.
The tower Pagoda sit up top the Ficus tree below or is it the other way around, that the tree stretches up to the sun and the tower is built from below. These are semantical differences and not wholly in the true form of what might actually be. They both stand the same, it is just a matter of personal height that changes the hue of the sun, the time of the day, and the view to be one.

The Pagoda is right beside west lake and Truc Bach Lake in Hanoi Vietnam. Being more than 1500 year old it is the oldest in Hanoi. This the blooming Lotus that Tran Quoc pagoda is.
