Everything becomes easier in the era of globalization. The speed of information and technological advances not only have an impact on the ease of access to information, but also lifestyle. It is undeniable that in this modern era, lifestyles are becoming more consumptive. The development of trends is also very fast starting from clothing, technology, to lifestyle. As a result, not a few people choose to follow the current trend with the reason "so as not to be out of date". Not entirely wrong, because humans are required to be able to adapt to the times.

There are many benefits that your little one gets if you start a simple life from an early age. Starting from increasing gratitude, teaching the importance of sharing, to understanding financial management even in a simple way. In addition, teaching a simple life from a young age is the same as preventing your child from being carried away by a consumptive lifestyle.

One of the benefits of living a simple life is teaching generosity. What is the form of generosity in children? One of the easiest to do is to select his toys. Mama and Papa can select toys belonging to their little ones that are really liked by him. Then, if the toys are rarely played and still have usefulness, it is better to donate them. This action will train your little one to have a high sensitivity and social spirit. Of course, this can be done with a note that the child really has an excessive number of toys.

Not only teaching children to share with others, simple life can be taught by freeing the little one in expression. Do not limit children to activities that are positive, such as playing in the field or other things that are in direct contact with nature. Little ones need experience and direct interaction with their friends rather than playing alone with their toys. When playing while learning in the great outdoors, there's a lot to learn. Those experiences can teach your little one about simplicity.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. The proverb means that what children do is not far from the behavior of their parents. Therefore, it is useless if you teach simplicity to your little one without any real action from Mama and Papa that can be imitated. Don't just be good at theorizing in front of your little one, but immediately show a simple lifestyle, share with others, and other positive things. Don't hesitate to invite your little one when Mama and Papa share donations to social homes or children in need.

One lifestyle that needs to be taught from a young age is saving. Your little one must understand that saving is a good habit, aka saving money when you are rich. Parents can start from small things, for example when celebrating a child's birthday party. Parents can say it simply while reminding their little ones that birthday celebrations don't always have to be celebrated in luxury. There are many choices of simple but still interesting birthday celebration concepts that can be done. In addition, don't easily say yes to your little one's requests. It should be underlined that this action does not mean that parents are being stingy. This action can be done if your child asks for items or toys that they already have. Parents must have the courage to say no, but still convey it subtly without yelling.
