“If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy” (Psalms 137:5-6 KJV)
Whatever you do, never forget this fact, God can never forget you. Can you shout “Praise the Lord for that”? I didn’t say He will not forget you, I mean He cannot forget you, no way.
God so loves you to the point that He has promised two things:
He said, to forget you is for His right hand to forget His skill:
Meaning that you are unforgettable. Do you know what God’s right hand represents? It represents His power and dynamism – what makes Him God is His power over every other power in heaven and on earth. He also said that:
Forgetting you would mean losing His ability to speak:
Do you know what it means for God’s tongue to cleave to the roof of His mouth? It means dumbness. If God goes dumb, the world will crumble because the world is held together by the word of His power. This makes you equal to the world before God.
The bottom line is this, based on the forgoing, God can never forget you. Forgetting you is absolutely impossible. Can I hear you shout a loud Hallelujah?
