“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:9-10 KJV)
Many will answer to the affirmative to this question, but not many would want to know and pay the price or the demands of enjoying a life of favour like that. The way to really enjoy favour according to our text is in your ability to do good. Here’s are a few ways on how to do good.
Do good to all men:
Regardless of backgrounds, ethnicity or religious persuasions. Just position yourself to do good to and for people, all for your personal fulfilment.
Particularly do good to people of the household of faith:
Referring to your brethren in the same local church as you. Don’t move around like a blind and mindless person. Open your eyes and see what people are going through. Discern the pain in people’s hearts and seek to bring relief to them the best you can.
Lastly, do these things consistently:
Never get discouraged, because all kinds of things will come up to discourage you. But God says “if you do not faint, you will reap in due season”. There is a due season, and God will make sure you do not miss yours in Jesus name. For me, the most important point here is “if you faint not”. This means that many have fainted before their due season came. You will not faint or give up in Jesus Name.
