Two women Halimat and Hadiza lived in a city named Opanambiri. Both of them were rich, they were also married, they were living together with their husbands. Halimat was a nurse who most times spends her major time in the hospital. But Hadiza was a house wife, she never learnt trade and she never had the zeal for it. The husband always gave her money for her upkeep on a monthly basis. Hadiza and Halimat looked alike but have not met each other before.
One day, Hadiza went to the village for her friend’s marital rites. On her way, she met with a man named ‘Zally’, a royal priest in Avrogo land who happened to board the same vehicle with her to a nearby community.

Zally was an old royal priest in Avrogo. He was not married, but he had two children from a woman he met when he paid visit to his village in his youthful age. The children were staying separate from their mother and had all grown up to mothers. He only saw his kids when they were babies, since then he has never seen them again.

On their way, they had a fertile accident that almost cut their lives, in the scene were some fortunate Samaritans who rushed the victims to the hospital. Amongst the victims were Zally and Hadiza. Zally was seriously wounded and was bleeding heavily to death, but Hadiza had a slight scratch on her toes and so were admitted in the hospital and treated.
The nurse taking care of Zally was Halimat. Halimat tried stopping the blood flowing out from Zally’s body but it was still rushing out the more. He was to be given an injection but he was seriously bleeding more and more. “Please sir, do you have anybody you know around that you can contact” Halimat asked? He said no. Halimat checked his blood group and it was the same with hers. Zally was bleeding seriously, he needed more blood before he could be treated.
Halimat was ready to donate her blood for Zally, although it was not enough. She needed some more blood to add to her own blood, so she would be able to treat Zally.
Hadiza who was lying close to Zally had known about the state at which Zally was, she accepted to also donate her blood for Zally if tested and it matches Zally’s own.
On the course of this, Hadiza’s blood matched that of Zally….little did they know that it was their father they donated the blood to. They never knew each other…, until when a picture that Zally took with them fell off the suitcase he carried for the journey. ‘Lo and behold’ Halimat shouted, “This is the picture my mum always showed me when I was small…talking about my father”. Hadiza immediately glanced through the picture and she also shouted…”This was the same picture my mother showed me when I was young”.

In two days’ time, Zally recovered and later explained how the picture came about…with tears dropping out of his eyes. They all hugged each other and Halimat took them back to her house.
