BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:15 A.M.) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a meeting with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City on Thursday.
Lavrov and Abbas had a brief conversation in front of the cameras before the meeting began in earnest.
