BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:20 A.M.) - A group of Turkish-backed rebels launched an unprovoked attack against the Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate this evening.
According to local activists, the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) attacked YPG forces along the eastern axis of Sheikh Issa, which is a town located directly west of the rebel stronghold, Mare', in northern Aleppo.
No casualties or territorial changes have been reported.
Local activists added that artillery shells and machine gun fire could be heard near Mare'.
