I am surprised by this little post and specially why is did not thought about it? "You take away all the distractions. Composition, hue, and subject matter becomes more apparent i think and you read the picture more in depth. What i also like is that it adds some mystery as you have the option to picture the photo in your mind the way you see it; "you can use your mind to add color to the photo and create the story you see".
