Hello Everyone,
Treat people the way you want to be treated. I know no one in the right frame of mind would want to treat him/herself badly because we all love ourselves. The thing is, most times, people want to be respected, but they always fail to do the same to others. I wonder why this should happen. One thing is certain in life, what you do to others will surely bounce back to you whether you like it or not.
Life is in circles, it goes around and around! Everyone on earth deserves to be treated properly and with respect. No matter who you are, you are not beyond showing respect to others, after all, we are all humans. We are all created equally by God and we all came to this world naked, and we shall return without been attached. Wealth shouldn't make anyone treat others as if they are trash. There should be an atom of human feeling in anything we do.
It is sad to say, humanity is nearly gone these days. People no longer value their fellow humans because of their tribe, race, color, and status. I know humans are also very difficult to deal with. People are hardly pleased. Nevertheless, we are encouraged to love everyone around us as we love ourselves. Show love to the poor, give alms to those in need no matter how little. Some times, a little act of kind gestures goes a long way and only shows love. The truth is, it is difficult not to respect someone you love. In essence, love and respect go hand in hand. If you love those around you, you wouldn't want to treat them badly.
My message to us this morning is to kindly remind us of the need to always treat people exactly the way we would love them to treat us. Honestly, people need to be loved and cared for. In fact, it is one of our duties to look out for each other. And by doing this, the world will be a better place where everyone will live happily.
