It's HPUD or Hive power Up Day and I have decided to put some money where my mouth is and power up around 600 Hive which I bought with my hard-earned cash. Ok, it's not much but it does bring me over 7000HP and one day it will, I am sure will be worth a lot more than the €60 or so I spent on it. Looking at the price of HIVE I believe it is so undervalued. But I am so glad that there are those willing to part with it for this price.
Hive has become my place on the internet. It is where I share my sculpture work and spend most of the computer time which my hectic life allows. So, It is only fair that I invest some money in these magic internet beans.
The seeds are being planted
As I look around Hive I see lot's of green shoots and I feel that at any second things will burst into life. Seeing the excitement around Leo and what a great developer team and a very supportive community can achieve I am bullish on Hive. But, I understand that these things take time when trying to get consensus among such a big group, all with so many different aspirations. I think Leo is doing a good thing for themselves and also for the rest of the hive. They are bringing many new eyes to our blockchain, Eyes with dollar signs looking for new investment opportunities. Having their own tailored website to host the financial posts and a token helps free up Hive to concentrate on other things.
I have been investing some of my Hive rewards in Leo from the start and although I am no investor nor business smarty pants I discovered recently that I am Orca class. I knew that this thing would grow and grow when hearing the enthusiasm in the early Podcasts. Unfortunately, I don't produce many posts about finance but I do enjoy curating and learning and so with my miners and curation, I can be part of the fun.
I hope that other tribes will also follow suit, Lifting their community and token price to greater heights.
How does your garden grow
I see this blockchain like a garden, with each community its own little vegetable patch. Like any garden you don't want to plant all the same seed just in case the crop fails and you are left with nothing. So, I try to spread things out a bit and collect many different seeds LEO, STEM, WEED (Ah weed!), CREATIVE COIN etc hoping that I will one day have an amazing feast.
Hive itself is the soil, the fertile ground for everything to grow in so we all should till the soil and it's the reason for staking my claim. Bringing this analogy to its logical conclusion we are the gardeners. I see many willing to just eat the seeds, to spend their Hive as soon as they are awarded it from the pool. They remind me of the characters in the story about the little red hen. Take it away Malvina.
My constant gardener
My biggest investment in Hive has been the time I have spent creating my blog. Adding what skills I have to the Blockchain I may be missed in my little corner of the garden but I'm ok with that, I am enjoying my slow growth. To finish this analogy and to finish off this freewrite of a post I romanticise that my blog is like a little herb garden. Maybe not everyone's staple diet but I'll always be there, Hoping to bring flavour and variation to the table.
