Beam jacketing is a retrofit technique for strengthening of existing beam by placing longitudinal rebar and anchoring them to the column. Stirrups are also provided and anchored to the slab. After earthquake in Nepal we have many retrofit projects. Iam glad to be working in one of the projects. Work is being done and we are looking for serious progress.
