I must admit, Im a greedy bastard and this sentence is the first thing that came up to mind. But this is the mind set of our previous life (in st***t). Though we made a huge technical leap in Hive, we must be honest and thankful for many technical good legacies but the problem was the mindset.
So we came here to Hive to build a better platform with the right mindset for the community, and the jump in the price is one of our challenges.
As you see this time I am not writing a short shit post just to mine some coins. The value of the token encourages me to create real content and really work on my writing.
I also scrolled my feed and saw that friends kept cool as well. People are happy with the new value but know its just the start if we keep the fairness and kindness above all.
With higher value, witnesses are paid better, writers are paid better and curators are paid better. So the content quality should rise as long as we keep in mind the importance of not encourage comment farming and bots mining, and all the sickness that we ran away from.
I really hope that true original writers and more people around the world will see the opportunity of taking part of this party and finally get the rewards they deserve for sharing content over the web.
The centralised platforms abuses their users just like coal miners in the past.
People are spending plenty of time, being manipulated and earn nothing.
So come and join our Hive party, this community is all about sharing, and freeing from the centralised chains.
We should though be even a stronger community since with the value comes the risks.
We should share more knowledge of privacy and security and also as a community help members that are victims of fraud (like people helped
