Sean todos bienvenidos, mis amigos y enemigos virtuales de la blockchain. Hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes un cumpleaños más en La Colmena, ya son 5 en total; cómo pasa el tiempo…

Inicié poniéndoles en contexto y quizá muchos pensarán: “¿por qué se refiere a los “enemigo”?, pues, como dice el refrán, “no somos moneditas de oro para caerles a todos bien”, esa es una realidad cuando inicié en Steemit, por allá en enero de 2018. En ese año logré llegar a una reputación de 55, pero navegué por aguas turbulentas haciendo comentarios entre la guerra de poderes que allí se manejaban y terminé siendo votado negativamente hasta que mi reputación bajó a 42. Seguí mis actividades, publicando en variedad de contenidos, pues, muchos sabrán que para esos días no existían comunidades que se especializarán en determinados temas como lo hay hoy en La Colmena; y logré remontarme nuevamente para el 2019 a una reputación de 56.

Como muchos, emigramos de Steemit a Hive; en ese momento que lo hicimos, arrastramos con nosotros las características que teníamos en Steemit como lo era nuestra reputación, nuestro poder de voto y nuestras recompensas. Poco después de la mudanza, dejé de publicar por problemas personales, entre ellos, el fallecimiento de mi hija Sofía, esto me derribó, abrió una herida que aún sangra… Pero, la vida da muchos giros, y fue bendecido con mi hijo Matthew. Mi hijo me abrió el apetito de regresar a la blockchain y después de más de dos años de ausencia retomé las publicaciones, el reencuentro con viejos amigos virtuales que aún se encuentran activos.

En menos de un mes, logré llegar a una reputación de 59, pero me encontré en el camino a una periodistas que hace vida en La Colmena, una joven que para 1995 se iniciaba como reportera para RCTV, ella cubrió un suceso para cuando “toqué fondo”, ese año en que las siete plagas intentaron abrumarme por casi once años; pero salí airoso…Bueno, me la encontré en una publicación la cual comenté, un día después, al ella darse cuenta de quién era yo, recibí unos 300 votos negativos que hicieron descender mi reputación a 47. Ciertas cuentas que vigilan o moderan la actividad en La Colmena, consideraron que mi usuario era un ”spam” y todo lo que publicaba recibía un voto negativo por parte de ellos.

La situación se tornó pesada hasta que la comunidad #Holos&Lotus a través de la columnista @charjaim, convocó a un reto denominado “cuando toqué fondo”. Aproveché la oportunidad de participar y publiqué mi participación en el reto. De esta manera, mi amiga, la periodista, que conocía esos momentos de mi pasado, no encontró forma de seguir reprimiendo mi usuario, y como ven, ya nuevamente he llegado a una reputación de 58.

Esta detallada historia de estos cinco años en La Colmena, la he contado, porque ustedes se preguntarán: ¿cinco años en La Colmena y no supera la reputación de 58?, aclara ciertamente sus inquietudes. Aunque de vez en cuando, un amigo por allí termina propinando a mis comentarios o a ciertas publicaciones, su voto rojo, je, je, je.

Les confieso que mi inicio en la blockchain no fue por necesidades económicas, fue más la curiosidad de la criptomoneda y su afinidad con una actividad personal que fácilmente podría hacerse desde el celular, desde la comodidad de la casa o del trabajo primario. Soy un apasionado por la tecnología y a través de las distintas redes sociales, me he codeado con personas de latitudes insospechadas, con criterios iguales o divergentes a los míos, pero que sanamente intercambiamos ideas; y uno se entera de cosas que ni nos imaginamos que existes. Conozco digitalmente a gente de los cinco continentes, unas treinta y dos naciones con una cultura tan diversa, esa diversidad cultural me ha enriquecido.

En La Colmena, me he identificado con varias comunidades, me encantan los retos que semana a semana van apareciendo. En varios no he podido participar por mis limitaciones visuales, pero aquí estoy, constante y sonriente. Entre estas comunidades tenemos a #freewriters de la mano de @freewritehouse y otros aliados; los retos semanales de nuestro amigo @fibra59; las aventuras literarias que puedes encontrar en #WritingClub o en #literatos; tomar una taza de café de visita en la comunidad #CinnamonCupCoffee. En busca de bienestar y reencontrar amigos, la comunidad #Holos&Lotus es especial. Em #DBuzz nuevas y mágicas amistades he encontrado. De vez en cuando, me paso por la comunidad #LeoFinance para enterarme de las tendencias de la criptomoneda y otros asuntos financieros. Me encanta la comunidad #PhotoBombChallenge, ya que en ella los usuarios son unos verdaderos artistas de la manipulación fotográfica.

Ahora me estoy incorporando a dos nuevas comunidades, #WednesdayWalk donde publicaré mis caminatas aventureras de los días miércoles; y, #WeekendExperiences donde las vivencias del fin de semana serán compartidas para disfrute de todos los miembros.

No me puedo despedir sin reconocer la gran labor que hace día a día el equipo HiveBuzz, quienes nos incentivan para seguir en La Colmena y producir material de calidad. Shortly after the move, I stopped posting due to personal problems, among them, the passing of my daughter Sophia, this knocked me down, opened a wound that still bleeds... But, life takes many turns, and I was blessed with my son Matthew. My son whetted my appetite to return to the blockchain and after more than two years of absence I resumed publishing, reconnecting with old virtual friends who are still active.

In less than a month, I managed to reach a reputation of 59, but I met on the way a journalist who lives in La Colmena, a young woman who by 1995 was starting as a reporter for RCTV, she covered an event for when I "hit rock bottom", that year when the seven plagues tried to overwhelm me for almost eleven years; but I got away with it... Well, I met her in a publication which I commented, a day later, when she realised who I was, I received about 300 negative votes that lowered my reputation to 47. Certain accounts that monitor or moderate activity on The Hive, considered my user to be "spam " and everything I posted received a negative vote from them.

The situation became tiresome until the #Holos&Lotus community, through the columnist @charjaim, called for a challenge called "when I hit rock bottom". I took the opportunity to participate and published my participation in the challenge. In this way, my friend, the journalist, who knew about those moments in my past, found no way to continue repressing my user, and as you can see, I have once again reached a reputation of 58.

This detailed story of these five years in The Hive, I have told, because you may ask: **Five years on The Hive and you still haven't exceeded a reputation of 58, it certainly clarifies your concerns. Although from time to time, a friend over there ends up giving my comments or certain publications his red vote, heh, heh, heh, heh.

I confess that my start in the blockchain was not for economic needs, it was more the curiosity of the cryptocurrency and its affinity with a personal activity that could easily be done from the comfort of home or primary work. I am passionate about technology and through the different social networks, I have rubbed shoulders with people from unsuspected latitudes, with the same or divergent criteria as mine, but we exchange ideas in a healthy way; and one learns about things that we never imagined existed. I digitally know people from the five continents, some thirty-two nations with such a diverse culture, that cultural diversity has enriched me.

In Hive, I have identified with several communities, I love the challenges that appear week after week. I have not been able to participate in several of them due to my visual limitations, but here I am, constant and smiling. Among these communities we have #freewriters with @freewritehouse and other allies; the weekly challenges of our friend @fibra59; the literary adventures that you can find in #WritingClub or in #literatos; having a cup of coffee visiting the community #CinnamonCupCoffee. In search of well-being and meeting new friends, the #Holos&Lotus community is special. In #DBuzz I have found new and magical friendships. From time to time, I drop by the #LeoFinance community to learn about cryptocurrency trends and other financial matters. I love the #PhotoBombChallenge community, where the users are true photo manipulation artists.

I am now joining two new communities, #WednesdayWalk where I will post my adventurous Wednesday walks; and, #WeekendExperiences where weekend experiences will be shared for all members to enjoy.
