Hello Music Lovers.
It's been a while since I last hung out with my friends so today I went out with my girls to have some fun since it's the weekend while we were on our ride one of Rihanna's old tracks popped up and we were surprised we could still sing along to the music and hey, it brought back nostalgia. We almost chorused "Ohhh you remember?"
We began to sing along and the Driver was feeling our energy that he increased the volume of the music as we had a very smooth ride.
We started to reminisce about some of her tracks that used to be our favourites, we mentioned a few like Take a Bow, what's My Name, Found Love, and the road trip to our hang-out spot was much fun while we kept talking about music.
I used to tell anyone who cared to listen that, Music is life and the food to my soul, it brings a positive aura and some songs have the power to take us back in time, just like how this track brought up a lot of energy while we rode smoothly to our destination. Imagine if there was no music, the whole ride would have been boring along the line because we would get tired of talking and we would all go silent but the music was like our companions
One of my friends started telling us her story of her first love, how she used to sing this song to him every time and how she even used the song as her ringtone at that time, it was such a fun trip, everyone started to laugh about it and we all know how young love feels, so intoxicating and deep, so this song best described the feeling.
"You Da One," is a very beautiful love song which tells what love does to someone, how we crave to be with them all the time and how we can't stay a day without thinking about them.
Someone asked if it's important to communicate with our lover every day and the rest of us were like "What kind of question is that?" How does love grow? For me I think effective communication brings about affection, so how can you say you love me and go a day without talking to me, no way!
Everyone has their own opinion, but I feel communication is the first key to a successful relationship, reassurance goes a long way but how can you reassure a person of your love if you don't show that you want to be with them or if you don't talk to them often?
This song also shows the willingness to adjust one's lifestyle to accommodate the one loves, love is all about sacrifice and how love is meant to be reciprocated for it to thrive.
The beautiful thing about love is that sometimes we don't get to choose who our heart loves, it just happens and we are like.." how did we get here?" Love is truly a gift and a beautiful thing if nurtured and reciprocated.
