Going to the market today was not only necessary but of great importance if i want to have some food in the house for the weekned.
Tomorrow being Saturday happens to be my country's gubernatorial election and it's imperative to stock up the house ahead of the election.
The local market was filled with people who were anxious to get all that they would need for the weekned. The crowd reminded me of Christmas celebration but the only deference was the mood. While Christmas was joyful whereas this election mood was full of panic.
First i stopped to buy some fresh vegetables after which i bought some cat fish that i would use to prepare pepper soup and white soup.
I bought natural spices that i will use to spice the fish and some of the meat that i still have in the freezer at home.
I also got some unripe plantain that will be the hero of the delicious porridge that i am going to make tomorrow. Unripe plantain is a very good source of fiber and it aids in blood clotting.
My children love these avocado pear so i bought some of them. I also bought a bag of rice and other things that we would be needing.
