Hello my lovely hivers, welcome to another edition of market Friday. Today after about two hours meeting with my client, i decided to go to Ajah market to buy fresh mangoes for my girls.
The meeting place was just twenty minutes drive to the market thus the reason i decided to use the opportunity and buy something that would put a big smile on my children's face especially my younger child. She is a huge fan of mangoes and will always ask for more just like Oliver Twist.
Getting to the market, i found many varieties of mangoes and i kind of became confused on which one to go for. I started by asking the seller the of each variety. She answered me in her native language and well i kind of pretend to know what she was talking about. I just hate the fact that i have spent up to seven years in the western part of Nigeria and i am yet to learn their language. Maybe the part of Lagos that i am also contributed to my inability to have learnt the language. Island is made up of 20% locals and others are from different parts od the country and the world.
The price was quiet fair and she also have me some discount. Previously she told me five hundred naira for four pieces but later she gave me twelve pieces for a thousand naira.
I was very satisfied with the mangoes that i bought because they were fresh and succulent. My younger daughter literary behaved like a police dog as she smelt her way to the particular bag that the mangoes were asking...
