Have you ever heard people or seen people jubilating that they didn't attend Church on a Sunday?
My heart was still trying to heal from the trauma it suffered when I heard of the Texas shooting that took the lives of nineteen children and two teachers.
I might not have known these children and the teachers but I am a mother thus seeing the pictures of the little children that were sent to the other world so early brought sorrow to my heart.
What of the teachers that died protecting these children?
They were mothers too or intending mothers and how would their children feel when they realise that their mother is never coming back home?
Why would one take a life that he/she cannot create?
Just Yesterday in my country, many children and adults lost their lives right inside the church where they went to worship God.
Some men entered the house of God and opened fire on worshippers killing more than thirty people including Children.
This one hits home and so I begin to wonder...
How safe are our children as they leave the house to school?
How safe are we as we go about our daily hustle and bustle?
