Hello hivers ! Happy Sunday to you all. We have already entered a new week but I want to gist you all about the weekned groove I attended on Friday night.
The party was called friday groove and the company who organized it is a real estate company. It was just a little get together of real estate consultants and realtors marketing and selling the company's properties. We are gradually entering the 3rd quarter of the year and so they deemed it fit to party with their consultants and also we new consultants that will help push the company's properties into the market.
The party started at exactly 5pm and we all know the popular African time where people show up late for parties. I came to the party around 6pm and the whole place was packed with people already. I joined them to play a couple of games that they were playing and it was all fun and exciting. Some of the games include scrabble, bottle flip, the popular ncho which is an African game and so many others.
One thing that is very common with any gathering in Nigeria is food. There must be food or else your guests will not honour your invitation any other day. Well we already know that food is life and that's why I still find it difficult to understand what Jesus meant by man cannot live by bread alone. If you refuse or even forget to serve food in any party then your name will automatically enter the list of people to avoid. So in this particular party there was enough foods and drinks.
In a short while it started raining cash gifts and other incentives. Many consultants who sold the company's properties were awarded with many mouth watering incentives. Many went home with microwave, refrigerator, washing machine,gas cooker,toaster, water dispenser machine, smart television, half plot of land and many others.
It was indeed a good motivation and everyone started looking forward to doubling their effort so as to win more juicy incentives in the next hangout. Infact I told myself that I am going to get a car incentive in the next hangout and so shall it be.
The party went on through the night and soon dancing competition started. It was super fun but I didn't participate in the dance competition which I later regretted because the winner was given a fifty thousand naira cash gift.
It was indeed an awesome Friday groove.
