One thing that i swore to achieve as a mother is to create an unbreakable bond between my daughters.
I want them to love each other so much that no matter what they face in life they would always be there for each other. So I started so early to teach them the value of family and how to love and respect each other.

Growing up, i never experienced a healthy relationship with my elder sister and it bothered me greatly.
I can vividly remember how we used to fight like Tom and Jerry; while some percieved it was normal and thought that we would eventually stop with time or outgrow it.
The fighting did stop but Jealously creeped in.
I watched how my friends relate so well with their sisters. How they laugh out so loud gisting about boys and it hurts so bad that i don't have that kind of relationship with my sister.
My only consolation was my bestfriend Amaka who became more than a friend to me. With her i shared many secrets and yes we talked about boys too.
To make sure that my daughters doesn't experience such rivalry and unhealthy relationship, i taught them lots of family values and i make them both understand that they are and will never be in competition with each other. I assured them that i love both of them evenly no matter their strength and weaknesses. All fights, quarrels and misunderstandings are resolved amicably with a friendship hug at the end.
There was this day that i was to take my eldest daughter to the dentist. Their goodbye hug got me teary and just two hours apart she told me that she want to go back home to her sister.
I will boost with utmost fulfillment that i am doing great towards making these two have a great relationship. Though we still have a long way to go but i am happy that we are on the right track.
