Hello hive learners and happy sunday to you all. Hope our weekned break is going on well.

Yesterday was my children's school inter-house sport and there were many fun activities and sports that the children participated in. One of them was Face Painting.

I took the picture and designed it with canva.

My children took me to the person who was helping the topaz house with the face painting and he was doing a very great job. There are lots of children waiting in queue for their face to be painted and i felt that it would take forever for it to get to our turn.

So i explained to the man that i am an artist and can paint my children's face myself. It would reduce the workload for him since he has extra paint brushes that i can use.

My daughter was so excited that i would be painting her face myself. Other kids came to me begging me to paint their faces but i declined since i don't know how their parents would feel about it. I am only practicing with my daughter's face and if they want me to paint their faces then they will need to get permission from their parents.

To Paint A Face You Will Need

  1. Paint : there is particular paint meant for face painting. It can be easily washed out at the end of the day. You can get any colors of your choice.

  2. Brush : these comes in different types for different uses. There is the brush for desighing, drawing and painting and shading.

  3. Water : A little water is needed to make the paint blend well and be neat too.

  4. Artist skill: this is the most important. This is what will make your work beautiful.

It was fun painting on the children's face and each of them appreciated every unique design. The happiness i see on their face made me to realise why parents always make available a face painter at every party. It adds spice and aroma to the party.

It is pretty easy to clean the face paints. I used baby wipes to clean my daughter's face and it was able to remove all the paints without any difficulty.

You can also use soap and water to wash your face off if baby wipes is not avialable. I enjoyed every part of this activity and hope that you will get to try it soonest.
