My journey on the steemit platform hasn’t been an easy one. Though am still struggling, I won’t forget that some steemians helped me. I started posting contents through the guidance of some people. Besides, there are steemians that constantly visit my blog and are generous enough to upvote my posts.
I must confess that it wasn’t rosy for me. Initially, I was discouraged to continue blogging on the platform. You can imagine how I felt seeing no comments and $0.00 after each post. It seemed my posts are drowned in the ocean of thousands of posts on the platform. You might have been in such situation. If so, you will understand how disappointed I was.
I was contemplating on quitting the platform when I decided to take a look at my blog. When I logged, I clicked on “comments.” I do comment on posts that I find interesting. Behold, someone upvoted one of my recent comments. I stared at the upvote. I couldn’t believe that I made the comment (I had concluded that my activities on the platform weren’t noticeable).
@surpassinggoogle that gave me both upvotes. He became my superhero that day. His generosity encouraged to continue on the steemit platform. Then, I joined the #steemgigs discord channel.
I must say that “Thank you” will not be enough to show my appreciation. You have touched many lives on this platform, especially through your projects. You have inspired many to appreciate themselves. May you never lack as you sow in the life of others.
However, it saddened my heart when I read your post two days ago. Such is life. We don’t pray for such trials to come our way. I pray and believe that you will triumph over it. The Lord is your strength. It is well with your dad. I wish him a speedy recovery.
