MARYJANE
I do remember, I remember all too well,
Those words I said
when the noise began to swell
MARYJANE stay inside, stay inside
Because those bad men are outside
Don't worry, when I come back
we'll flee to the west side'.

I saw the fear in your eyes MARYJANE
I tried to make you smile
with my own forced smile,
Don't they say a smile breeds a smile?
Then you smiled back,
only 'yours were sincere
Showed your tiny white teeth and pink lips,
My darling you were fair.

Then I dashed out, yes I dashed out
To do what? I don't even remember
But the next time I carried you,
Your smile was but a flash back.
Starring down at your lifeless body, I realised
How absurd it was to think anywhere was safe,
That when I left you alone I was insane.

Now I cannot even cry,
The heat of the bomb blasts
have licked up my tears,
The noise of the cross-fires echo in my ears
Everything is now just the thick black smoke that has replaced the clouds.
There is no heaven, there couldn't be
If there was, this would not happen
There is no God, only guns
For where would God reside
when the men have no heart.

My beautiful MARYJANE
Today I have lost my heart
And when the dead walks,
the living should fear
I will make the world pay
for taking someone dear
I will join the bad men, cause chaos everywhere.
Not I chose this
Sweet MARYJANE
Those men did this.
